Emerging Technologies: Advancing High-Quality Learning Experiences

Participated in a panel at Seneca Polytechnic’s Teaching & Learning Day, contributing to a discussion on how emerging technologies, particularly AI, are reshaping learning and workforce readiness. Spoke to the growing importance of critical thinking in an environment where technical skills can be automated, emphasizing the need for students to engage with AI thoughtfully rather than avoid it. Highlighted that while skepticism is necessary, education must focus on building judgment, curiosity, and the ability to navigate an AI-enabled world.
