Participated in a regional Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) roundtable hosted by CEWIL Canada, convening stakeholders from industry, community organizations, postsecondary institutions, and government to examine how WIL can better support Ontario’s workforce needs.Contributed perspectives on systemic barriers to WIL participation, including financial accessibility, institutional capacity, and the availability of high-quality placements. Discussions focused on improving alignment between postsecondary programming and labour market demands.Key themes included expanding financial supports for participation, strengthening institutional capacity to coordinate placements, and increasing the availability of high-quality, paid opportunities across programs.This engagement reflects ongoing work to position Work-Integrated Learning as a key lever in strengthening workforce development and improving access to experiential learning pathways
