1834 Fellow | Emerging Black Canadian Policy Leader

Established in 2019, the 1834 Fellowship is a competitive seven-month public policy and leadership development program that annually selects 20 exceptional Black Canadians between the ages of 18 and 25. The program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders in public service through policy training, one-on-one mentorship with leading Black policy professionals, and national leadership engagement opportunities culminating in the annual 1834 Conference.As a 1834 Fellow, I engage in policy development, leadership training, civic leadership, and advancing equitable policy solutions in Canada.
